Biography

Charles E. Clos, ([email protected]) the principal attorney and contact for the Firm, holds an “AV” rating for legal ability and ethical standards by the preeminent Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory.  Mr. Clos routinely represents both businesses and individuals in litigation proceedings, is well-versed in corporate formation, contracts, estate planning, divorce, Internet trademark disputes, misdemeanor criminal,  and has appeared before numerous administrative law agencies throughout the State of Michigan. In 2012 Mr. Clos prevailed on behalf of a client in a case involving the Teamsters, who were suing Mr. Clos' client for reimbursement of medical expenses.

Mr. Clos also holds certification in mediation and alternate dispute resolution where he has arbitrated many commercial and business disputes.  Mr. Clos is a graduate of the Detroit College of Law where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and as Editor in Chief of the Law Review. 

Mr. Clos has been practicing in the metropolitan area since 1990.  He is a member of various organizations and is admitted to practice in the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals.
